    2012 Expo and Market

On Saturday, 1 December 2012, the Canberra community celebrated international day of people with disability through an I-Day Expo and Market. The event was a wonderful celebration of the skills, abilities and achievements of people with disability. The day provided people with disability an opportunity to showcase their many and varied talents. Stall-holders included local artists, handmade craft items for sale, clothing, cakes and pastries, jewellery, books, music, and much more!

A magnificent array of entertainment and activities was enjoyed by over 750 visitors and participants throughout the day.  We greatly enjoyed the children from the Count Us In scool choir, dance performances by the Dream Team and the Belly Dancing Troupe, and an abundance of musical talent from a variety of musicisans including the internationally acclaimed band Rudely Interrupted, Declan Sykes, Young Music Society, the Lyneham High Jazz Band and Adam Conroy and Geoff Conn.
