About CLP

The ACT Community Living Project (CLP) is a not-for-profit community organisation in the ACT region representing over 250 families who are seeking quality lifestyle choices for a family member with a disability.

Our Legal Structure

The ACT Community Living Project Inc became an incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Act 1991 on 2 February 2009.

CLP has an elected Governing Committee which is responsible for the overall management of the association. Click here to see the membership of this committee.

CLP’s Constitution was ratified in January 2009. Read our Constitution here.

Our Objectives are

to plan and develop a safe and supportive living environment for people with a disability, particularly for those with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities;

to advocate on behalf of this group of people and their carers for appropriate and safe accommodation and work/leisure opportunities in the ACT;

to lobby community, business organisations and government agencies for funding and support for permanent accommodation and employment options for this group of people with a disability.

The ACT Community Living Project has a legal obligation to ensure the protection and proper use and handling of all personal information. We understand your right to have your personal privacy protected.
